Izmit Returns to Meet Rails

İzmit Rails: The first train tracks to Izmit were laid by the Germans in the late 1800s. In 1999, after the great earthquake disaster, the train was removed from the middle of Izmit and the city was saved from the rails. Now, starting from Yahya Kaptan, tram rails are being installed in the city center again.
300 METER BEFORE
Gülermak company, which undertook the construction of İzmit Tramway project of Büyükşehir Municipality, started to lay rail on Saturday at Yahya Kaptan Hanlı Street. The contractor company 40, who was working in the track flooring yesterday, took all of the personnel to health control. Therefore, the work of laying the rail could not be done yesterday. On the Hanlı Street, the 300 meter tram road will be laid. At the 1 stage, the tracks of the 7 meter of the 1.800 kilometer will be completed. After Hanlı Street, the rails will be laid on Salkım Söğüt and Sarımimoza Streets and Necip Fazıl Street.
