Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, Binali Yıldırım, regarding the planned Çanakkale 1915 Bridge project, said, “This bridge will be put into service until 2023. The distance between the feet of the bridge will be 2023 meters. ”

Yıldırım visited the exhibition area after the opening ceremony, members of the press answered the questions about the giant infrastructure projects.
Stating that there will be high-speed train services from Haydarpaşa Station, Yıldırım said, “The high-speed train comes from Ankara and stops in Pendik. The suburban line and the high-speed train will work together between Pendik and Ayrılıkçeşme-Haydarpaşa. Therefore, the line here is completely renewed from scratch. There will be a high-speed train line and a suburban line. The high-speed train will arrive at Haydarpaşa when this line is finished. How long it will take? Stating that the restoration works related to Haydarpaşa Train Station are carried out by TCDD, Yıldırım said, “We have been working with the boards, district municipalities and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality since 2006. In this direction, we continue both the arrangement of the works in that area and the renovation of the infrastructure in accordance with the high-speed train within the schedule we have determined ”.

In the next few months, these works will be finished and we will officially announce the route. After that, we will take action to hit the first pickaxe. "
