While star hotels in the Aegean and Mediterranean regions reached only forty percent of their target occupancy rate, the hotels in Erzurum peaked in terms of customer abundance. Our hotels, which reached almost ninety percent occupancy during the winter season, managed to spend this period to the fullest. In fact, some hotels in Palandöken had difficulties in finding a room for guests, despite the demand days before. This popularity in domestic tourism was not limited to hotels and mountains only. Thousands of local guests visiting Erzurum also provided significant support to the economy of the city.
