Minister Yıldırım, Ankara-Sivas YHT Project is Expensive from Marmaray

Minister Yıldırım, Ankara-Sivas YHT Project is Expensive from Marmaray: Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications Binali Yıldırım stated that the Ankara-Sivas High Speed Train Project is 7,5 billion and Marmaray is a 7 billion project.
Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications Binali Yıldırım, stating that the Ankara-Sivas High Speed Train Project is a 7,5-billion-worth Marmaray project, said, “You can understand the importance of Yozgat from here. A more expensive investment than the Marmaray Republic of Turkey, the Anatolia investing. "Investments are not only made in Istanbul."
Yıldırım came to Yozgat for the opening of the High Speed Train (YHT) T-9 tunnel with Justice Minister Bekir Bozdağ. Yıldırım and Bozdağ, welcomed at the entrance of Yozgat, later visited Governor Abdulkadir Yazıcı.
"HISTORICAL MOMENT"
Minister Yıldırım told reporters that they have been carrying out important projects in Yozgat since 2003, one of which is the Ankara-Sivas High Speed Train Project.
Yıldırım also stated that they will be a historical witness in the scope of the project:
“We will witness the meeting of light today of the longest tunnel in the history of railways with a length of 9 thousand 5 meters, called T-150, located in Akdağmadeni. Ankara-Sivas High Speed Train Project is very important. Where does its importance come from? Once, the railway from Ankara to Sivas does not pass through Yozgat. Bypassing Yozgat, Kayseri passes from there to Sivas. When we took office, our Minister of Justice and our deputies came to us saying "When will Yozgat meet by train", we decided to take steps to implement the project. We started the project work, and since 2009 we have been carrying out construction work. "
Stating that the project was carried out in difficult geographical conditions, Yıldırım said, “Why hasn't this project been completed since 2009? This project is subject to very difficult geographical conditions due to the route it passes through. We are dealing with many challenges such as art structures, tunnels, viaducts. There are more than 10 tunnels on the line. Total tunnel length exceeds 20 kilometers. Each of the viaducts built is a big bridge. There are half as many viaducts as the Bosphorus Bridge. Therefore, it is a difficult project, an expensive project ”.
A MORE EXPENSIVE PROJECT THAN MARMARAY
Noting that the cost of Ankara-Sivas High Speed Train Project is more than Marmaray, Yıldırım continued as follows:
“We all know Marmaray. Marmaray is the most prestigious and magnificent project in the world. This project is more expensive than Marmaray. You can understand the importance of Yozgat from here. We are talking about a 7,5 billion project. Marmaray is 7 billion liras. Therefore, a more expensive investment than the Marmaray Republic of Turkey, the Anatolia investing. Investments are not only made in Istanbul. Turkey's roads every inch of land, airports, railways We carry all kinds of services, such as avoidance of any sacrifice. There are no high-speed trains even in America today. no high-speed trains in the UK but during the AK Party government in Turkey dream come true. Today, we are taking one of these important steps together with the Akdağmadeni Tunnel. We will finish the project by the end of 2018, hopefully. If no great obstacle comes from God, we will finish the project by working hard.
Yildirim and Bozdag, then Yozgat Municipality and the AK Party Provincial Directorate visited.
Minister Bozdağ thanked Yıldırım for his services to Yozgat at the AK Party Provincial Presidency.
Stating that Yildirim has performed the most successful actions in AK Party governments, Bozdag said:
"Today with the way the four corners of our Turkey, with the rail network, with airports, the ports, which meet even the villages of communication the Internet, Our governments in the most successful practices of the most successful representative of the Minister of Transport Mr. Binali we welcome Lightning gentleman in our city. On behalf of myself, my friends and the people of Yozgat, I say welcome to our country, you have brought honor. We would like to express our wholehearted gratitude to Yozgat for the works he has contributed until today. Hopefully, this will crown what he has done with the works he will make from now on. We have no doubts about him. "
