However, new documents and photographs of these periods are still emerging from various archives. With these new details, the appropriate pieces of the puzzle fit in place.

The new information and documents reached by SABAH came out of the researcher Taha Toros archive, who died four years ago. New documents and photographs of the exile that Abdülmecid exited with his train by his relatives, will shed light on history. The most important of these documents is the ticket of the train they used to travel to Europe, where the caliph and his family were deported. Abdülmecid and his family opened the door of a new era from a comfortable life with magnificent palaces and a train journey. There was unclear information about when Abdulmecid and his companions set out. Thanks to the seal on the ticket, the history of this journey has been finalized.

The caliph, his family and close colleagues, who took three taxis from Dolmabahçe Palace, were brought to Çatalca Train Station to go to Europe. While passing through Hungary, Abdülmecid took advantage of the train stopping at a station and wrote the landscape on paper. The caliph also dropped the "Hungary, where my great ancestor was victorious" in the right-hand corner of the pencil drawing. When Abdulmecid and his friends arrived in Switzerland, the Bomonti Family welcomed them. The family settles in the Grand Alpine Hotel on the shore of Lake Leman (Lake Geneva).

Another note that Abdülaziz's son wrote about in the press about the last Caliph, in his own handwriting, is among the new documents. In this note, Abdülmecid explains that he has never dealt with politics and preserves his neutrality.
