ATATURK AIRPORT INVESTIGATIONS CONTINUE
In line with the practice initiated by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Inspectors also made inspections at Istanbul Atatürk Airport. Nine inspectors inspecting at Atatürk Airport checked all entry and exit points to the terminal. Investigators closely examined the security services provided by Atatürk Airport Security Directorate teams and TAV Private security personnel. It was learned in the examination that no negativity has been encountered so far.
TRAINING FILM APPROACHES IN TAV SECURITY RESTING OFFICES
TAV Private Security Company, which provides security services at Atatürk Airport, has also intensified training for its personnel. While training was accelerated in order for the personnel to be more careful against terrorist incidents, the screens installed in the recreation offices enabled the employees to watch educational films in their spare time. Bomb expert dogs trained by TAV Private Security started to search in and around Atatürk Airport. The sensitivity of the x ray devices in the terminal has been increased. The checks made by the Atatürk Airport Police Department teams on the subway floor were also tightened.
