Namibia Railways

The railways in Namibia consist of roads built due to military requirements, especially when under German rule. Railway connections up to 2.382 km today connect some cities. While railway connections that do not spread throughout the country make almost no meaning in human transportation, they are mostly used for product transportation. The country's highways cover almost all regions, unlike the railway. In the country, which has 65.000 km of highways, 60.000 of these roads are pebble-based instead of asphalt. The remaining 5.000 km has asphalt as important roads. In Namibia, traffic flows from the left, just like its neighbor, the Republic of South Africa.

The country has its own airline with Air Namibia. In the country, which has two airports integrated into the international aviation industry, there are also areas large and small where small aircraft can land. In maritime transportation, Lüderitz has an important position with Walvis Bay, which was transferred to Namibia by South Africa in 1994.
