MTU to produce diesel engine for CRRC in Friedrichshafen, China

MTU Friedrichshafen to Manufacture Diesel Engine for Chinese Firm CRRC: MTU Friedrichshafen, a subsidiary of Rolls-Royce, will produce diesel engines for the Chinese firm CRRC (China Railway Rolling Stock Corporation). The total cost of the 100 400 series engines to be produced will be 30 million Euros. It is stated that the CRRC will install the engines produced on the freight locomotives produced for Argentina. The produced engines stand out with their 2200 kilowatt power.
MTU and CRRC had previously worked as partners. All 400 series engines will be finished and delivered in 2016 year. The engines will be produced by MTU in the factory in Friedrichshafen, Germany.
