Konak Tramway Construction Work Continues: Izmir Metropolitan Municipality continues the construction of Konak Tramway. Güzelyalı district, which was closed to traffic for rail laying last week, was opened two days earlier than planned. The study, aimed to be completed in 16 days, was completed in eight days. Now it's time for 10/19 Sokak, which connects Mithatpaşa Caddesi to Mustafa Kemal Sahil Boulevard.
Starting in front of Sahil Bulvarı Hava Eğitim Komutanlığı Command, tram laying of Konak Tramway continues between 40/1 and 79 streets. On the other hand, line productions at the intersection points connecting the Boulevard to Mithatpaşa Street are carried out sequentially within the framework of the schedule determined in order to prevent traffic interruption. In line with the UKOME decision, 19/1 Sokak will continue to be closed to traffic on Tuesday, February 19, 1, as line manufacturing works will continue at the intersection of 2/2016 Street with the boulevard. The line will be reopened after the manufacturing works are completed within 10 days.
