Increase in transportation fees in Konya

Increase in transportation costs in Konya: Due to the increasing costs due to transportation spending inputs, the new arrangements were made in public transportation after the regulation in August 2014.
By the UKOME, a boarding fee for the public transportation in Konya was reduced by 1.30 TL, and a boarding pass with a full elkart was determined as 1.80 TL.
Konya Metropolitan Municipality Transport Coordination Center (UKOME), with the participation of representatives of relevant institutions and organizations, the passenger centers serving in the city center and public transportation vehicles in the municipality has re-determined the prices.
The most recent arrangement in public transportation prices in the year of August 2014 in the decision taken by UKOME, because of the increase in public transportation expenditure items used in buses and trams and non-contact credit cards and contactless banking cards need to be rearranged.
According to the new regulation in Konya, which continues to be one of the cheapest metropolitan cities in terms of public transportation, prices are as follows:
Discounted Elkart: 1.30
Full Elkart: 1.80 TL.
Monthly Unlimited Redeemable Subscription for Average 100 boarding Elkart: 75 TL, Monthly Unlimited Full Subscription Elkart: 115 TL.
In accordance with the UKOME decision, the non-contact banking cards belonging to the banks within the scope of the protocol signed between Konya Metropolitan Municipality and Interbank Card Center (BKM) and a one-quarters fee were determined as 1.80 TL.
With the new metropolitan law, Konya Metropolitan Municipality, which is expanding its area and strengthening its public transportation fleet with the latest model buses and trams, will start to implement the new fees on Monday, February. New prices on minibuses will be valid as of the same date.
