Our Minister stated that the delaying of the opening ceremony will not prevent the service, therefore, the line should be put into service as soon as possible, and ordered to start the expeditions. We thank him very much. ”
Central government and local government cooperation

Within the scope of the protocol, TCDD has added a new 2nd line to the existing railway line between Cumaovası-Tepeköy stations, constructed the under-superstructure of the line, built the walls for the tender to ensure uninterrupted operation of the line, and built the signal-electrification and telecommunication facilities. In accordance with the protocol, İzmir Metropolitan Municipality completed the construction of 6 stations, 7 underpasses and 2 overpasses within this period.
Reminding that there will be a serious relief in the city traffic with the opening of the line, which has successfully completed trial runs, AK Party Izmir MP Mahmut Atilla Kaya said, “With the opening of the İZBAN Torbali line, our citizens will have a comfortable transportation opportunity.
