Hyperloop was included in the ITU team from Turkey. When the project is realized, the distance between Istanbul and Ankara, which takes 1 hour even by plane, will be reduced to 25 minutes.

Students of Istanbul Technical University (ITU) who made it to the finals in the competition held for the high-speed land vehicle 'Hyperloop', the new project of the famous entrepreneur Elon Musk, the chief architect and company partner of the team that developed the electric car Tesla, will be in America He presented his projects. ITU Sci-X Hyperloop Pod design team, which was among the best 200 projects in the competition attended by 124 teams worldwide, explained the details of their projects to the world's leading scientists at the 'SpaceX Hyperloop Pod Competition Weekend in Houston Texas. When the project is implemented, the distance between Istanbul and Ankara will be reduced to 25 minutes.

FIRST TIME IN 2018

Hyperloop, which radically changed the speed and safety of public transportation, is planned to be operational in many countries, especially in the USA, in 2018. When the project is implemented, passengers will be able to travel between Istanbul and Ankara in 5 minutes, which takes an average of 25 hours by road today. The project, which was first announced to the public in 2013 by Elon Musk, the founder of SpaceX and Motor companies, consists of aluminum pipes placed on columns at intervals ranging from 450 to 900 meters and capsules moving inside them. When SpaceX announced this project, the fact that it would not be patented and that it would be completely open source increased interest in the project. Teams appeared before the jury within the scope of “SpaceX Design Weekend” between January 29-30, 2016 in SpaceX's competition to encourage students to innovation. The pod designs selected as a result of the evaluation will first go through various tests in the upcoming period, and then production will be carried out. These pods, produced on a 2016-kilometer private track prepared in California in June 1.6, will be tested.

Likewise, we have been researching and producing unmanned aerial vehicles for 12 years. Likewise, we have investments of 450 million dollars in this field for our research on nickel mine. We do not have an expectation that a positive result will be obtained from every study. We are getting important results from our failures. In summary, there is no limit for us in R&D ”.
