Kolkata Airport Metro Construction Work Started in India: Construction work has begun on the line that will be an extension of the Kolkata subway in India and will connect to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Airport in Dum Dum. With the ceremony held on February 21, Indian Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu started construction work.
The 6,9 km-long underground line will start from the north-south line of Noapara, which is still in use, and will extend in the northeast, in the direction of Bimanbandar. Even 3 units will be found.
