Emphasizing that Samsun is on the agenda in the transportation infrastructure, President Yusuf Ziya Yılmaz said, “We have made Samsun our city with a rail system public transportation model by acting more boldly than the cities with 3-4 times its population. We did it with debt, but thanks to the rail system, a modern and new city was born. It streamlines our city. Now we are extending its line. We will put our new line into operation on 10.10.2016 ”.
Touching on the rapid development of Samsun, Mayor Yılmaz said, “Let's stop beating our knee and talk about our success stories and we will be proud. Our city is rapidly changing, transforming and developing. Samsun has a problem with the market. In fact, we were about to solve this problem by providing an airline connection with Russia. However, with the emergence of the Russian crisis, our accounts were suspended. We would look for opportunities to export on the northern coast without the Russian crisis. But I think the relationship will end soon and the relations will normalize. I do not trust any city in production and export, I only trust Samsun. ”He said.
