Light rail system is coming to İzmir road in Bursa: At the press conference held yesterday, Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Recep Altepe said that they will take the rail system to İrfaniye and Technology Industrial Zone beyond Görükle. Noting that the subway is currently traveling on a 31-kilometer line, Mayor Altepe said, “The daily passenger carrying capacity, which was 110 thousand when we took office, reached 300 thousand today. We can increase this up to 600 thousand people. Because an additional 106 wagons come to our 60 wagons. We can easily achieve this with 166 wagons. With the creation of new living areas, we will take the light rail system from Görükle to the İrfaniye and Badırga region. We are making plans for this ”.
