The Gulf Transition Bridge Moved the Regional Economy: The economy of the provinces, towns, cities and villages on the Gulf Crossing Bridge route has been revived.

The opening speech of the workshop held in the Yalova Municipal Council hall was made by Yalova Mayor Vefa Salman. Pointing out that the 17 August 1999 earthquake and the Gulf Crossing Bridge project were the two breaking points of Yalova, Vefa said, "The reflections of the bridge should be turned into opportunities."
Emphasizing that the Gulf Crossing Bridge will make a great contribution to Yalova's industry and economy, Vefa said, "New economic activities and employment will emerge on the project route."
The Gulf Transition Bridge has mobilized the regional economy.
