Huai'an City Tram Line Opened in China

Huai'an City Tram Line Opened in China: Huai'an city of China entered service with the opening of the first tram line. The line started to serve on December 19, after the successful completion of the test runs that started on December 28.
Huai'an city's first tram line starts from the northwest to the southeast. The line is 20,3 km long and contains 23 units. The line starts at Huai'an Gymnasium and ends at South Gate. The cost of the line that was started to be constructed in 2014 is 3,65 billion yuan (510 million Euro).
Even the 26 units 4'er produced by CRRC Zhuzhou serve trams with wagons. Trams serving as catenary can carry 360 passengers.
