India train crash 13 dead

Train accident in India 14 dead: At least 14 people were killed and 50 injured in train accidents in the east and north of the Asian country of India.

Police officials announced that 5 people, 13 of whom were children, were killed when the train crashed into an off-road vehicle at a level crossing in the country's Jharkhand state. Eyewitnesses said that the tire of the vehicle was stuck in the railroad at the level crossing and the train crashed into the vehicle at that time.

In another accident that occurred 60 km south of the capital city of New Delhi, it was recorded that one of the mechanics died and 50 people were injured as a result of the collision of two trains.

An investigation was launched against accidents.

In India, where the state-owned railways network runs 9 flights and carries 23 million passengers per day, 5 people died in train accidents in the last 220 years. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced that they are planning to renew the railways.
