Train Minivan in Indonesia

In Indonesia, the train minibus mowed 16 dead: 16 people died and 8 were seriously injured as a result of a collision between trains and minibuses in the capital of Indonesia, Jakarta.

Police officials said in a statement about the accident that occurred in the Angke region of Jakarta, that the minibus driver did not stop despite the signals given to pass the train and was dragged about two hundred meters after the train crashed.

While 24 of the 16 people in the van died at the scene, 8 were seriously injured. The injured were transferred to the hospital.

In a statement from Indonesian Railways Services, it was reported that there were no deaths or injuries from those on the freight train going from Jakarta to Bogor.
