Greenbrier Receives $170 Million Vagon Order

Greenbrier Companies, Inc., a transportation equipment manufacturer based in Lake Oswego, Oregon. announced on Tuesday that since the start of the fiscal year September 1, 2015, they have received orders for approximately 170 wagons worth $1.800 million. These orders include various types of wagons, such as car-carrying wagons, freight wagons and bottom hatch wagons to be sent to the North American and European markets.

1.800 of the 500 order was purchased in the first quarter of 30 November 2015, while the remaining 1.300 units were received in the next quarter. In addition, the 200 of these orders was replaced by a wagon request different from the wagon type previously ordered, but this did not change the value of the order.
