Details of the Körfez Tube Crossing Project Have Been Determined: The details of the project that will connect the two sides of İzmir, which is among the '35 Projects' planned by the Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communication, Binali Yıldırım, are as follows.

Details of the Bay Tube Crossing, which will ease the transportation of İzmir, have been announced. One leg of the passage project, which has been finalized by the Directorate of Highways, will be Narlıdere Beach Houses and the other will be next to Çiğli Atatürk Organized Industrial Zone.

60 minutes to 12 minutes

The Gulf Tube Passage Project, which is among the '35 Projects' planned by Binali Yıldırım, Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications for İzmir and recently sent a message to the people of İzmir through Yeni Asır, took its final form.

A "general situation" and a "profile plan" were prepared in the project, which was discussed by all parts of Izmir last week and planned to connect the two sides of Izmir.

The Gulf crossing of the project, which will connect Narlıdere and Çiğli, is planned as 12.2 km, while the 4 thousand 251 meters of this crossing will be the Gulf Bridge, the 800 meters artificial island and the 794 meters immersed tube tunnel will be a rubber pass. In addition, a 16-kilometer rail crossing will be made in the project. For the Bay Crossing Project, it is planned to be a connection junction from Çeşme Highway in the South. In the northern part, the two sides will be connected to each other by the Sasalı and Peripheral Road Connection Junction.

The two pillars of the project will be between Narlıdere Beach Houses and Çiğli Atatürk Organized Industrial Zone. The Gulf Tube Crossing Project will be connected to the tunnel by a two-lane highway. So the 60 minute route will drop to 12 minute. The project is expected to be completed in 2023.
