The 3-Storey Grand Istanbul Tunnel project tender is on December 23: A tender will be held on December 3 for the survey, project and engineering services of the 23-Storey Grand Istanbul Tunnel Project, which is prepared to ease the traffic of Istanbul.
According to the information received by the AA correspondent, the tender, which was announced by the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications General Directorate of Infrastructure Investments as the first step in the 3-Storey Grand Istanbul Tunnel Project, on 14 December for survey, project and engineering services, was postponed to 23 December. Within the scope of the work, ground data will be determined by deep drilling work on land and sea. Engineering projects are planned to be completed within 1 year after the tender process.
HEM RAILWAY RAILWAY
The 3-Storey Grand Istanbul Tunnel, which will pass under the Bosphorus, will be constructed in accordance with the railroad, with both road and rail in one tube, with the two-lane tire on the top and bottom, including the arrival and departure.
İNCİRLİ FROM SÖĞÜTLÜÇEŞME'YE
One leg of the project, which will be the first in the world with the size and scope of the tunnel, is from the high-capacity and fast metro system starting from İncirli on the E-5 axis on the European Side and passing through the Bosphorus to Söğütlüçeşme on the Anatolian Side, and the second leg is the European Side. It will consist of a 2 × 2 lane highway system, which starts from Hasdal Junction on the TEM Highway axis in Istanbul and passes through the Bosphorus and connects to Çamlık Junction on the Anatolian Side.
14 WILL GO IN MINUTE
The tunnel will be integrated with 9 metro lines, TEM Highway, E-5 Highway and Northern Marmara Highway. The tunnel, which is planned to be completed within 5 years after the start of its construction with the Build-Operate-Transfer model, will be reached from Incirli on the European Side to Söğütlüçeşme on the Anatolian Side in approximately 31 minutes by the fast metro, which will consist of 14 stations with a length of 40 kilometers. On the European side, it will be reached from Hasdal Junction on the Anatolian Side to Çamlık Junction in about 14 minutes. It is expected that 6,5 million passengers per day will benefit from the line.
