The Third Airport ”Air Traffic Control Tower Concept Competition has been concluded. The tower inspired by the tulip flower by AECOM and Pininafarina won the competition. Making a statement regarding the result of the competition, İGA CEO Yusuf Akçayoğlu stated that the 'Air Traffic Control Tower', inspired by the 'tulip' flower by AECOM and Pininfarina, will add a lot to Istanbul New Airport symbolically. The design includes an elliptical tower for all passengers to use the new airport.
