Transportation is again entrusted to Yıldırım: Yıldırım, who was the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications for the longest period of 11 years until the date he resigned for İzmir Metropolitan Mayor candidacy, was appointed to this position again.

AK Party Izmir deputy Binali Yildirim, again became Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications.

Yıldırım, who resigned from the position of the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications on December 26, 2013 for the candidacy of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, became the name of the Ministry of Transport for the longest period of 11 years.

Yildirim, who could not be a candidate in the June 3th general election due to the AK Party's "7-term rule", entered the parliament as the AK Party's Izmir deputy in the 26th term and was once again appointed as the Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications.
