A More Barrier-Free Rail System in Kayseri: A meeting was held with disabled representatives to evaluate the expectations of disabled people about the rail system and to ensure the most proper functioning.
Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Transportation Inc. headquarters building located in the OIZ General Manager Feyzullah Gundogdu Transportation Corporation, as well as Kayseri Physically Disabled Association President Fatma Oytun, Six Dots Blind Association President Saadettin Kulkul and Chairman of the Association for the Hearing Impaired Niyazi Civelek with some disabled citizens attended.
In order to eliminate the difficulties of physical, auditory and visually impaired citizens in using the rail system and to realize a more perfect operation in terms of disabled people, representatives of disabled associations expressed their opinions and suggestions.
General Manager Feyzullah Gündoğdu also stated that they are carrying out studies to meet the expectations and needs of all passengers using the rail system and said that they carried out the focus group meeting called 'Barrier-Free Journey in Rail System'.
Representatives of the disabled associations also emphasized that it was very important to receive their opinions and suggestions and expressed their thanks to the Metropolitan Municipality for their interest.
At the end of the meeting, a technical visit was organized to the Traffic Control Center which is the mast of the rail system vehicle traffic and the participants were informed about the system and operation.
