The budget of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality for 2016 was determined as 16 billion 100 million TL. The lion's share in the budget was transportation services with 44 percent. In the book prepared for the 2016 Investment and Service Program, Beyoğlu İstiklal Avenue and Tram Line Application Project (İstiklal Avenue and Gallery System) draws attention among the investments of the Infrastructure Services Directorate with a budget of 15 million TL. The budget, covering a total of 630 projects, will be presented to the Assembly's agenda on Thursday, November 12 and voted.
New investment rate percent 56
The part allocated for new investments in the budget constitutes 4 percent of the budget with 366 billion 56 million liras. While it was stated that 8 billion 366 million lira would be spent on investment, the figure to be allocated for service was determined as 3 billion 960 billion.
In the 2015 budget, which is prepared by considering the 2019-2016 Strategic Plan and the 2016 Budget, 12 will be borrowed for 700 billion 3 million.
The lion's share of transportation
Among the activities planned to be carried out in 2016, lion share became one of the transportation services with 44 percent. In the 2016 to transport 5 billion 510 million pounds to be allocated.
