Intercontinental ropeway in 2016: The foundation of the Mecidiyeköy-Zincirlikuyu and Çamlıca Cable Car line, which will connect the two continents for the first time, will be laid in 2016. 22 thousand passengers per hour will be transported on the 10 km line, which reduces the travel time between both continents to 6 minutes. Transportation will be relaxed with the line, which will also include touristic booths.
Mecidiyeköy-Çamlıca cable car line
In 2013, Kadir Topbaş, Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, announced his project on twitter.
Within the Mecidiyeköy-Çamlıca cable car line, where the cabins are planned for 32 people, 6 stations will be passed in 22 minutes in total. The 10-kilometer line will connect Mecidiyeköy to Çamlıca.

The Bosphorus traffic and the Mecidiyeköy-Çamlıca cable car line, which will transport the 6 thousand passengers from the Asian side to the European side, is expected to be relaxed. Mecidiyeköy-Camlica cable car line will also include touristic cabins.
Beykoz cable car line
The part of the line between Beykoz and Karlıtepe will be 1,5 kilometers. With the opening of this line, visitors will be able to reach Karlıtepe Picnic Area with a 1,5-kilometer tour.
The cable car line in question is planned to be integrated with the metro lines. The line that will start from Sultaniye Park will be Beykoz Meadow-Hz. Yuşa Hill will also be connected to the cable car line.
Beykoz Meadow-Hz. The Yusha Hill cable car line will be 2,5 kilometers long. A station of the Beykoz cable car line will be located next to the Yalıköy covered market place and underground car park, which is planned to be located at the entrance to the Beykoz Çayırı area.
With the realization of the project, it is aimed to increase the interest in the historical Beykoz Meadow and Yuşa Hill. 190 will increase the height of the cable car line that will make it easier to reach the hills from the coast.
