Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu announced the 64th Government Program. With the announcement of the program, Antalya's hope for investments such as highways and high-speed trains has increased. In the Government Program announced by the Prime Minister, the investments promised to Antalya in the election period excited Antalya. The Government Program, announced by Prime Minister Davutoğlu from the Grand National Assembly, included the following sentences about transportation projects to Antalya: “We will start the construction of the Antalya-Alanya motorways. We aim to realize the Aydın- Denizli-Burdur, Afyonkarahisar- Burdur-Antalya, Highway Projects until 2023. Many tunnels will be completed, especially the 27 tunnels between Mersin and Antalya, which make the Mediterranean coast passable. ”
FAST TRAIN IS COMING
Promising to realize the 100-year train dream of Antalya, AK Party also included this project in the Government Program. While explaining the program, Prime Minister Davutoğlu said that “We will continue to make high-speed train lines that will carry Istanbul-Antalya, Karasu-Antalya, Kayseri-Nevşehir- Aksaray-Konya-Antalya freight and passengers in sections,” and said that the investment will be completed in this period.
EMERGENCY RESPONSE CENTER
In the program, it was announced that the Emergency Response Centers (AMM), which will operate in Antalya, Mersin and Tekirdağ, to operate in order to coordinate sea pollution response and cleaning activities at the national and international scale, will be completed.
