EU funding allocated for Spain's railway connection with Atlantic countries

A grant from the EU fund was allocated for Spain's rail link with the Atlantic countries: Spain Infrastructure, Transport home Public Works State Secretary Jolio Gomez Pomar signed a number of agreements for the creation of the ATlantic Railway Corridor. With these agreements, funding was obtained from the European Commission's CEF Program (Connecting Europe Faclity) amounting to Euro 950 million. The 500 million-euro section of the resource will be spent on the rol Basque Rail-Y X project, which will link railroads between the cities of San Sebastian home Bayonne. Upon the completion of the project, a direct connection with the other Atlantic countries will be ensured through the Basque Country.
