High-speed train good news to Antalya: Feridun Bilgin, Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, said that high-speed train lines are being prepared to connect Antalya to the inner regions.

Bilgin noted that the more transportation alternatives develop in a city, the more the city will be open to its surroundings and to the world, therefore, Antalya, Konya, Aksaray, Nevşehir, Kayseri, again Antalya, Isparta, Burdur, Afyonkarahisar, Kütahya, Eskişehir He stated that they are planning to complete the study projects related to the high-speed train lines that will connect to Turkey next year.

Bilgin said, “We are projecting the 642-kilometer-long Antalya-Kayseri high-speed train line in sections. We made the project tenders of Eskişehir department this year. Evaluation studies continue. Project preparations for the Afyonkarahisar section are ongoing. I hope we will start high-speed train services to Antalya in 2020 ”.
