Vezneciler-Sultangazi Metro Line is Coming: The 15-station Vezneciler-Sultangazi Metro Line, which will be implemented by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, which accelerates the metro investments, is planned to be opened until 2019.
The Vezneciler-Sultangazi Metro Line, which is among the rail system investments of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB), will start from Vezneciler, pass Edirnekapı, Eyüp, Gaziosmanpaşa and carry passengers at the Vezneciler station in an integrated way with Şişhane - Yenikapı Metro Line and therefore with Marmaray. Vezneciler - Sultangazi Metro Line, which will have a length of 17,3 kilometers and 15 stations, will be built with twin tunnel technology.
The Vezneciler-Sultangazi Metro Line project, which is expected to relieve traffic in Istanbul, will be completed and put into service by 2019. The metro line, which will start from Vezneciler station, will stop at Saraçhan - Fatih Mosque - Edirnekapı - Ayvansaray - Eyüp - Rami - Gaziosmanpaşa - Küçükköy 1 - Küçükköy 2 - Yenimahalle - Esentepe - Sultangazi - Cebeci - Mescid - i Selam stations.
