Lucknow Metro Chooses Alstom in India: A new agreement has been signed for Lucknow Metro, the second largest city in India. An agreement, which includes train purchases and signaling transactions worth 150 million Euros, was mutually signed between Lucknow metro management and Alstom company.

Alstom company will be manufacturing 20 4'er wagon train for Lucknow city metro. Alstom has announced that it will produce these trains at the Sri City plant in Andhra Pradesh, India. The trains will be air-conditioned and have passenger information screens.

Lucknow subway line 1A was between Chaudhary Charon Singh airport le Munshipulia. 3,4 km of the line is underground and the remaining 19,4 km will be on the ground.
