Erciyes is Trying to Find Its Place in the World Sports Activities Classification: Erciyes AŞ Chairman and General Manager Murat Cahid Cıngı said that Erciyes prepared for the 2015-2016 winter season and said, “As Erciyes is introduced and heard, we increase the number of people coming to Erciyes”.
One of the most important ski centers in Turkey's Erciyes Mountain, the season has been accelerated with the approach to work. Erciyes AŞ Chairman of the Board and General Manager Murat Cahid Cıngı said that Erciyes Mountain also stands out with summer sports, saying that efforts are underway to attract local and foreign tourists to Erciyes. Providing information about the activities carried out in the summer, Cıngı said, “The Master Plan of Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality is planned for the use of Mount Erciyes both in summer and in winter, and it continues. As it is a mountain, Erciyes carries value and meaning especially in terms of winter tourism. In the summer, we tried to use Erciyes Mountain as a holiday and tourism center as a result of the investments made here with its atmosphere, natural resources, air and water, and to do various activities here. An atmosphere was created in Erciyes Mountain, where cycling sports were used especially in summer. Both have made several national races of the Cycling Federation of Erciyes in Turkey we realized the people's long-distance race as well as the scope of Erciyes Urgup in Cappadocia Bicycle Festival. Therefore, in Erciyes, a nice platform has been created for bicycle sports and climbers, including tents and caravan camping areas in the summer. ”
Cıngı said the start of the winter season as load, "Erciyes can say is currently owned by Turkey's largest ski resort. Turkey's longest ski slopes and mechanical facilities. Stating that the tracks at 3 thousand 500 meters will be put into service in the 2015-2016 season, General Manager Murat Cahid Cıngı said, “These tracks will be runways in the world age. There will be tracks preferred by very expert skiers and professionals. We have completed the security measures in the summer. We protect these runways with very long distance protection nets. For this year, the tracks that our citizens will demand most and confident skiers will prefer the most will be our Ottoman track with the cable cars that will exit from Hisarcık gate.
