UTİKAD President Turgut Erkeskin was elected as the Chairman of the DEİK Logistics Business Council

UTIKAD President Turgut Erkeskin was elected as the Chairman of the DEIK Logistics Business Council: UTIKAD Chairman of the Board and Vice President of FIATA Mr. Turgut Erkeskin was elected as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK) Logistics Business Council.

Established within the Sectoral Business Councils of Foreign Economic Relations Board in 2013, the DEİK Logistics Business Council is working towards making the Turkish Logistics Sector more respected and competitive in the international arena.

23 At the Ordinary General Assembly Meeting of the DEIK Logistics Business Council 2015 Year held in Istanbul on October, UTİKAD President Turgut Erkeskin was elected as the Chairman of the Logistics Business Council.

Turgut Erkeskin, in his post-election assessment of Turkey to strengthen its position in the world market with international breakthroughs achieved in recent years, noting that the variables play an important role, said:

The speed of development of foreign trade activities, which are the basis of free market economy, is directly proportional to the quality of service provided in the logistics sector. Erkeskin stated that since the beginning of the establishment of the DEİK Logistics Business Council, they took part as UTİKAD, and that they will continue to work together to represent the sector in this new position together with all the council members. Erkeskin also thanked Lucien Arkas, the doyen of the sector he took over from the Logistics Business Council, for his contributions and studies to the sector.
