Agreement with Siemens for Denver Urban Transportation in the USA: Denver, a city in the US state of Colorado, signed a new agreement to make urban transportation more comfortable. The agreement signed between the Denver regional transport presidency and Siemens was worth $ 110 million. According to the agreement, Siemens will produce 29 SD 160 light rail system trains to serve in the Denver city light rail system.
The trains will be produced at the Siemens plant in Sacramento. The delivery of the trains will be in 2018. With the new trains ordered, the total number of light rail vehicles in service in Denver will rise to 201. All of the trains in Denver were produced by Siemens.
