60 smart buses on Kocaeli roads: 200 of the 60 buses purchased by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality arrived. Vehicles with libraries, passenger counting system, bicycle carrying apparatus will start carrying passengers in the city tomorrow.
200 of the 60 vehicles purchased by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality came to the city. 60 of the vehicles planned to be used in main lines and districts entered the determined lines with the ceremony held yesterday. Legal work continues to lease 200 natural gas, environmentally friendly buses to minibuses, all of which will arrive by November. The new buses with natural gas, 12 meters long and suitable for the disabled, were brought to the garage of the Metropolitan Municipality located on Plajyolu. New arriving vehicles will be taken to the lines without waiting. The vehicles will be used to replace the old vehicles of Izmit and Metropolitan, especially Körfez and Hereke. The remaining 5 of the vehicles with a 140-year maintenance and repair guarantee will be delivered by 11 November. The vehicles with a capacity of 85 passengers have 26 seats. The vehicles are the most convenient buses for the transportation of disabled citizens. The vehicles will be used especially in meeting the demands of municipal buses of the old towns and between district municipalities.

KOCAELİ 2016 WILL TRAVEL AT THE END
Within the scope of the tram project planned to be made in order to solve the urban traffic problem in Kocaeli, 12 tram purchase contracts were signed in Sekapark.
