Vezneciler-Arnavutköy metro opens in 2019: The tram line running between Topkapı-Habipler is extended. This line will be transformed into the Vezneciler-Arnavutköy metro system in 2019.

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality started the project work for the 7-kilometer line that will extend the tram line running between Topkapı-Habipler, which has 22 stations, 15 of which are underground. The tender for the Arnavutköy tram line, which will serve the third airport, will be put out on September 3. When the Topkapı-Habipler tram line is extended to Arnavutköy, it will be 9 kilometers. Within the scope of the extension of the line, 30 new stations will be built, including Sultangazi, Habipler, Eski Habipler, Esenbahçe, Sincanlar, Fenertepe Road, Kayabaşı Road, State Hospital, Arnavutköy. The tram line, which will start from Topkapı and extend to Arnavutköy, will be transformed into a metro system operating between Vezneciler and Arnavutköy in 9.

UP TO KARTAL…

The metro line, which will start from Arnavutköy, from Vezneciler to Marmaray and later Kadıköy-It will be integrated into the Eagle Metro. Transportation will be provided by metro from Arnavutköy to Kartal.
