Fuel wagon problem between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan has been solved

The problem of the fuel wagon between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan has been resolved: Kyrgyzstan has released 12 filled fuel wagons that belonged to the Eurasian Economic Union on August 1,5, which had been kept on the border for 448 years.

Medetbek Kerimkulov, the President of the Petroleum Sellers Association, said that Kazakhstan allowed the passage of 448 fuel wagons, which it had seized at the border when it came from Russia and transited to Kyrgyzstan within the framework of the fuel export ban that it started to implement at the beginning of last year.

Kerimkulov, at a press conference, noted that fuel oil dealers and consignments have started to examine the quality and quantity of fuel by accepting fuel from tankers from Kazakhstan.

It was stated that the fuel product in tanker wagons held in Kazakhstan is due to the declaration contrary to the legislation of the Eurasian Economic Union. Kazakhstan authorities fined Kyrgyzstan companies $ 13 million for the wagons of Kyrgyzstan. As a result of the mutual negotiations between the two countries' authorities, it was stated that the amount of penalties arising from the waiting period was reduced.
