Karsta train service restarted

Karsta train services resumed: In the Sarıkamış district of Kars, train services were restarted with the repair of the rails damaged in the bomb attack on the freight train by terrorists.

The damage on the railway caused by the explosion of a bomb placed on the rails by terrorists when the freight train from Erzurum to Kars passed the Eski Soğanlı Station in Sarıkamış district on July 30, was resolved after 10 days of work.

Trainings were also restarted upon completion of the study.

During the passage of the freight train, the bombs exploded by the terrorists caused damage on the rails, and the railroad worker Necdet İnanç (64) lost his life and the village guard Mehmet Çelik (45) was wounded in the fire opened to the officers who repaired the rails.
