5 August 1935 Fevzi Pasha-Diyarbakir Line reached Ergani-Maden Station. The line was opened on November 22, 1935 by the Deputy of Nafia Ali Çetinkaya. 504 km. There are even 64 tunnels, 37 stations and 1910 culverts and bridges. On this line, an average of 5000 to 18.400 people worked per month. Its cost is around 118.000.000 pounds.
