Trakya speed train will be asked to the public

Thrace-speed trains will be asked rings: one of Turkey's largest railway project Halkalı- Kapıkule train line EIA process started. Public opinions will be collected on the route and impact areas of the high-speed train line to be built by TCDD. At the meeting to be held by the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of Environment and Urbanization, information will be made about the high-speed train line project, and opinions and suggestions will be received. After the meeting to be held on August 8, other processes related to the EIA report will be completed and the calendar for the tender will continue. According to the EIA application file submitted to the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, the 229 km line will be able to travel at a speed of 200 km. In the project where 8 different alternative routes and studies were prepared, the impact map of the road to be passed through Istanbul, Tekirdağ, Kırklareli and Edirne provinces was prepared. After the approval of the EIA report, its tender will be held until the end of 2015.

PART OF THE SILK ROAD
Considered one of Turkey's most important rail corridor Halkalı - Kapıkule Railway Project, will connect Turkey to Europe and Asia. The corridor where the project is located will also transport Ankara-Sivas and Kars high-speed train lines to Europe as TRACECA (Transport Corridor Europe-Caucasus-Asia / Europe-Caucasus-Asia transport corridor), which envisages the revival of the Silk Road project.

981 MILLION INVESTMENT
