Tüzün stated in the motion that they are not against high speed trains, but this does not require the removal of old trains. MP Tüzün asked for the answers to the following questions in his motion:

"Turkey is a few kilometers from the existing railway line? How much of the TCDD Outline network is used for passenger transport? How much of the existing railway lines are used for freight transport? Is there any railway line that is not used and left idle since no freight and passenger transportation is carried out? Is there any maintenance on these lines that are left dysfunctional, how much was spent on maintenance? Is there any dysfunctional line left to its fate because no maintenance has been carried out? What is the amount of passengers carried by TCDD by years? What is the amount of cargo carried by TCDD by years? What are our provinces where passengers and freight are not transported despite passing through the railroad? On which lines, after the start of the high speed train services, the old train services have been removed? Is it planned to make regional expeditions to eliminate the victimization of the local people, especially peasants and retirees, who intensely use the trains removed from the expedition after the launch of high speed trains, especially Bilecik? What is the status of the station and other railway buildings on the unused lines? How many of these historical buildings have been restored, how many have been demolished and how many have been sold in the last 13 years? ”
