Municipal bureaucrats prepared alternative route suggestions especially considering the necessity of water displacement, electricity, natural gas and similar infrastructure displacements passing under the street and problems, increase in cost and problems in traffic. One of the alternatives is the tram line Karşıyaka As in the tram, it was completely shifted to Mustafa Kemal Sahil Boulevard with mixed traffic. Accordingly, the tram line to be laid on a six-lane road will move along with vehicle traffic.

In the second alternative, the line will be partially covered by one of the strips of the Beach Boulevard in the direction of the apartment, close to the road of the green area. In this way, a separate line from the traffic will be allowed to create. Mithatpaşa Street route is the third alternative. Three alternatives were presented to the Mayor Aziz Kocaoğlu as a suggestion along with the positive and negative aspects. Kocaoglu, will confirm one of the route in the last meeting. Accordingly, the contractor firm will be able to start work.

Karşıyaka The tram was also overhauled twice after construction started. The tram, which was originally planned to go from the beach, was set off on the reactions that some trees, especially palm trees, would be cut.
