20 KM Railway Between Konya-Kaşınhanı Will Be Opened At The End Of This Month: Karaman Governorate made a written statement about the double-line high speed train road works between Karaman and Konya. The Governorate announced that the 20 km railway between Konya and Kaşınhanı stations will be completed and opened to traffic by the end of June.
In order to ensure sufficient time interval for the railway construction works between Konya and Karaman, the following statements were stated in the statement that it was closed to train services between December 1, 2014 and March 30, 2015: “In this period, the double line speed between Konya and Karaman railroad work continues intensively. The Republic of Turkey State Railways (TCDD) Konya - Karaman Railway Line Project Gülermak - maintained by Kolin Construction joint venture as a result of intensive studies; The 20 km railway between Konya - Kaşınhanı stations will be completed and opened to traffic by the end of June. Thus, the first line train route will be completed. Old line railway dismantling has started between Kaşınhanı and Karaman stations. In addition, construction of the second railway line between Arıkören - Karaman stations has started. It is aimed to complete the entire double track railway construction between Karaman and Konya at the end of this year.
