Between Karaman and Konya Two-Line High Speed Train Works Ended: Continuous double-track high-speed railroads between Karaman and Konya were reported to continue intensively.
In the written statement made by the Governorship of Karaman regarding the issue, “In order to ensure sufficient time interval in the railway construction works between Konya and Karaman, between December 1, 2014 and March 30, 2015, the double-line high-speed train was closed to train services due to road works. In this period of time, the double-line high-speed train road works between Konya and Karaman are continuing intensively. The Republic of Turkey State Railways (TCDD) Konya -Karaman Railway Line Project Gülermak - maintained by the construction joint venture in Kolin in the hard work result, the 20-kilometer railway from Konya-Kaşınhanı stations will be opened to traffic completed by the end of this month. Thus, the first line railway will be completed. The old line railway dismantling has started between Kaşınhanı-Karaman stations. In addition, the construction of the second railway line between Arıkören and Karaman has started. It is aimed to complete the entire double track railway construction between Karaman and Konya at the end of this year ”.
