17 June 1873 Istanbul-Edirne-Sarımbey line was opened with a big ceremony.
17 June 1892 Mudanya-Bursa Line is opened. 1 was purchased by the state in June 1931.
17 June 1942 The new Meriç Bridge opened to traffic.
