Joint High Speed ​​Train Project from Singapore and Malaysia

Singapore and Malaysia: Singapore and Malaysia have rolled up their sleeves for the joint high-speed train project. The project, which will reduce the travel time between Singapore and Malaysia's capital Kuala Lumpur to 90 minutes, is expected to cost around 15 billion dollars.

By bus 5 and a half, the train will take about 9 hours between Singapore and Kuala Lumpur between the 450 kilometers, the 1,5 clock will be high-speed train. The 7 station on the Malaysia side of the high-speed train line and the 1 station on the Singapore side.

Two separate consortiums of Chinese and Japanese companies submitted bids for the Singapore-Kuala Lumpur high-speed train project. Clear information about the outcome of the tender and the end date of the project will be announced towards the end of the year.

Singapore and Malaysia are working on different transportation systems, as well as the high-speed train project, to increase the speed of transportation between them and to prevent the gaps in border gates. Some of them are the transit railway that will connect the Johor Bahru province of Malaysia and Singapore, and the third road bridge between the two countries.
