Explaining the project for the first time, Topbaş said, “We made preparations for a 12-kilometer tram that starts from Eminönü, passes through Fatih and Eyüp beaches and reaches Alibeyköy Cep Bus Station. We are thinking of a bicycle path next to it. There will also be a tram from Eyüp center to Bayrampaşa. That tram line will also be integrated into it. We will reveal the opportunity to travel on the Golden Horn coast by tram, ”he said. Eminönü-Alibeyköy tram line, given the good news of Mayor Topbaş, will consist of 18 stations and will reduce the travel time to 30 minutes. The new tram line will be integrated from Eyüp Square to Demirkapı and Bayrampaşa with a separate line. With the establishment of the second rail system of 11.5 kilometers between Bahçelievler-Bağcılar-Esenler, Aksaray-Airport metro and Mecidiyeköy-Mahmutbey Metro, which is under construction, will be integrated. The line will be connected by metro and metrobus in Yenibosna, by metro in Bağcılar, and by subway under construction in Tekstilkent.
