Cable cars in Erciyes are suitable for carrying people: Erciyes AŞ Chairman of the Board Murat Cahid Cıngı stated that the ropeways in Erciyes Ski Center are suitable for carrying people.
In a written statement, Cıngı stated that the ropeways in Erciyes Winter Sports and Tourism Center are suitable for carrying people as a result of the examination made by the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology.
Cıngı drew attention to the mountain management they created in Erciyes and said:
“As Kayseri Erciyes AŞ, we divided the mountain management into functions such as ropeways, runways and security and we created teams for each element. In addition to the cable car operators, our expert team within the Mechanical Facilities Maintenance and Repair Directorate constantly controls the ropeways on Mount Erciyes and repairs them in case of a hitch. Although all our facilities are state-of-the-art and very new, they are maintained and prepared for the season in April and December until they reach their finest details within a certain plan. In addition, the first and only Runway Regulation and Security Directorate personnel in our country spend their time on search and rescue activities, as well as netting, taking safety precautions and runway arrangements during the winter season. At Erciyes Winter Sports and Tourism Center, all business processes are carried out under a plan and control. ”
Expressing the need to prepare ski legislation quickly, Cıngı said, “The complex structure in the mountains should be ended and a mountain management like Erciyes model should be created from a single source. In addition, experts should be trained on the subject and a legislation should be prepared and put into practice immediately. Our state should ensure the safety of life and property by keeping the ski resorts under constant control in terms of both technical and security ”.
