After the bridge was completed, it was stated that the distance between Diyarbakır and Kahta will be shortened by approximately 2012 km. At the same time, the road will be opened in Adıyaman, which is the 'dead end street', which will provide transportation in western provinces (Bitlis, Siirt, Şırnak, Batman, Mardin, Van and Diyarbakır).
